Adobe Connect
« on: November 13, 2013, 11:04:48 AM »
Anyone use this? I'm telecommuting from home today and logged into a Webinar on Connect right now. I often complain about other Adobe products (like the freakin' endless Acrobat updates), but this is actually pretty slick. I might like it more than Webex, at least for being in "presented to" mode. Don't know how good it is for "presenter" mode. It seems to use minimum resources.

Our preferred method of web conferencing at work, its easy to use and fairly robust.

Even better when you are the presenter, you can shut other people's microphones off. You know the idiots who never figured out a mute button and start talking to their kids or eating potato chips on a conference call.

Heh, that's going on right now. The presenters have already told people to mute like 20 times. They're busy shutting people off.
