The funny, or sad, depending on your POV, part of it is even if all of this “court the young so we can mooch from their premiums with no claims to keep Obamacare running” WORKED, not enough of them would be able to get through all the broken back-office processes, or follow through on paying their first premiums to actually engage their coverage to make it work.
- Failing website/technology
- No payment reimbursement system in place to move subsidies to the insurers
- Back-end processes screwed up, people in the wrong categories, wrong coverage, wrong income brackets etc.
- Upside down premium vs. claims demographics
Any ONE of these is enough to pretty much guarantee Obamacare fails within the year. Granted, I think part of it is by design, it was all a Machiavellian plot to say “We TRIED to do a ‘free market’ solution”, so we just need to go for Single Payer .gov and be done with it.", so it was designed to fail. However, the institutional Left is so incompetent at all things business it’s failing in all of these ways, and probably more, right out the gate rather within the span of an election cycle like they had planned.
