The Last Battle

I'd never heard of this WW2 battle before, but the article made the book sound like a good read. I've added it to my Kindle. I also agree (at least the way the article portrays it) that it would make a swell movie.

Cool!

Though at first I thought you were referencing the C.S. Lewis book that was the finale for The Chronicals of Narnia.

I thought Ben was referencing Cornelius Ryan's excellent work on the fall of Berlin.

I read of this battle for the first time two weeks ago in 'After the Reich: the brutal history of the Allied occupation'.  An excellent book that I recommend.
