This is just an FYI, for those who wish to avoid doing business with GE Capital Retail Bank. A while back, they said they wouldn't do gun-related business anymore.

Because I owe them about a grand, I called their number today, and there was a message telling me they were changing their name to Synchrony. 'Cause I guess they really want a name no one knows how to pronounce. Or maybe there is another reason.

That happened a couple of weeks back.  We have an account with them where I think we owe them some money and they of course been calling all the time.  Now I know at least who they were.  LOL

Oh, that's easy. It's pronounced like "sin" "crony".
