Forgive me if this has cropped up elsewhere.

I've heard some audio from this thing, but I don't think I want to watch it. Lying to little girls that 1 in 5 of them will be raped is - need I say what it is? It's even worse than using them in for-profit propaganda, or encouraging them to say the f-word in a very public video.

I watched it the other day.  Found it humorous.  They cite 1 in 5 as victims of sexual assault.  Also cite to women being paid 23% less than men in the same jobs, and also say that a man with Cs in college and a woman getting As will be paid the same.  Don't think the video or the tshirts will change the world, but the video gave me a chuckle.

The 1 in 5 seems to be holding up, at least for now.  The statistics are incredibly scary, but at least better than the '1 in 5 will be raped', which I've also heard.  The 23% figure is old and missing a lot of corrections.  Women tend to go for stable and benefits a touch more.  With the recent downturn women actually ended up making MORE than the men when corrected for 'same job', 'seniority', etc...

Why is it holding up?  There was an article posted here a while back which defined the issue pretty well.  From what I have heard, if you look at actual ape the number goes to 1 in 12 or higher.  Doesn't mean it isn't a problem, but the lower number bandied about is based on adding in a lot of questionable data.

Mainly that 'sexual assault' is a lot easier standard to fulfill than rape.  Don't forget that it's not a 'per year' standard, it's a lifetime qualifier.  With declining assaults, the numbers should start dropping, such as the number of women who experience a sexual assault while going through college.

It didn't give me a chuckle at all. There is nothing humorous about brainwashing little girls and teaching them to talk like gutter trash.

Their version of sexual assault is special

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Worse than that!  It's financial explotation of a minor.  That can carry some serious Club Fed time.

stay safe.
If cowardly and dishonorable men sometimes shoot unarmed men with army pistols or guns, the evil must be prevented by the penitentiary and gallows, and not by a general deprivation of a constitutional privilege.

Hey you kids!! Get off my lawn!!!

Must be my perspective from my work, but I can't even come close to calling that abusive...they are just words.
