I just saw a CMP email showing that they are raising prices on rifles and shipping on 5JAN. Kinda short notice, but if anyone was looking at a Garand and can pull the trigger (ha ha) in the next few days, you'll save some ducats.
Side note - apparently on the shipping thing, UPS and Fedex are now (in 2015) going to be charging in some method that prioritizes package size over weight for increased shipping costs. I'd guess a big, heavy Garand is getting a double dose of increased shipping charges. :)
