Dishwasher Trouble
« on: January 03, 2015, 09:39:24 PM »
Our dishwasher won't run. Now, normally I would call a repairman on something that needs diagnosis like this but every reputable repaiman is several weeks behind. So I'm turning to the combined knowledge here:

It will not start a cycle. It doesn't seem to register button presses but it apparently is getting power because the lock light on the heated dry is on.

If it is important, it is a Frigidaire, probably a year and a half to two years old.

My suspicion is that it is a latch issue but I'm not sure how to diagnose that.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

My fear for you, fried mother board.  Happened to us, around 2 years in.  Good luck.

And if you replace motherboard without finding out what fried it you can get funny look on face, don't ask how I know

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Root around and see if there's a fuse perhaps that blown, baring that it might be the motherboard.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.
