Wanna bet how long before they lose the kid again?

CPS is going to have a hard time justifying taking the kid away for using a legal product without showing direct harm. Might as well take a person's kid away because they drink alcohol.

Kid said mom fed him a gooey ball. Is that legal without a scrip? You can definitely lose your kids for giving em alcohol if it comes to the attention of cps

Without meeting their kid they don't seem like the worst parents ever but if they wanna pass this off as making a mistake they better get on their game quick.

Parents sound like shitheads. CPS on very rare occasions does something actually useful, in between the atrocities and pure unmitigated evil.

“We have irrefutable evidence that it’s damaging for kids,” Dr. Leslie Walker told “20/20.” “Kids who think their parents approve of it are six times more likely to begin using marijuana and begin using much earlier than the average high school age.”

In other words, using marijuanna is bad because the kids of parents who use it are more likely to use it.  So what's the identified harm of kids using it?  The same things are true of drinking and smoking, and CPS aren't taking their kids.

I'm hoping this is in the case of some nightmare scenario where you give your kids copious quantities of vodka, right?

They've had incidents of the tot being fed beer in his sippy cup and even bottles.

In most states you won't face anything if you have stuff like I had - getting a sip from grandma's mixed drink or such.  Not enough to even get a buzz, probably more effective alcohol absorption rinsing my mouth with mouthwash after brushing.

Goo ball?

Some sort of THC/pot butter/oil candy ball thing I'd guess.

An "edible" in the legalization parlance.
I promise not to duck.

From the article, a 'goo ball' is a peanut-butter and raisin ball with marijuana added.  Now myself, I would call that a 'THC truffle' and you can charge five times as much.
