I have for a couple years now been dragging around in my car and such a Maxpedition
Jumbo EDC Versipack. I really like it for throwing stuff I want to have on me, but not neccesarily in my pockets. My tablet, phone chargers, knife, a big bottle of water, sometimes gun, mags, rolled poncho, etc. It's been super handy. I can swap out stuff depending on what I'm doing, use it as a carry on that clears TSA super fast, walk around fairs/festivals without a back pack. I love it.
I recently upgraded (or downgraded depending on your point of view) my travel/have with me electronics from a tablet to a 2-n-1 ultra book, which sadly doesn't quite fit in my bag.
Before I just get a bigger versipack
(this one) does anyone use something different that they like? I looked at attache/messenger bags but I like the more form fitting "Y" of my small Versipack. I don't know if that will be as handy on a big one.
I don't care about looking Tactical. Everything about me says "military" (apparantlly) and all my friends just assume I have a gun anyway. I do want something designed to carry a gun for when I do, and something tough, as one of the things I do is go on ~5 mi hikes in parks with it.
