Glock 43
« on: March 18, 2015, 05:13:21 PM »
Looks like the single stack 9mm is for real this time.

Trigger reach is listed as 2.56" compared to 2.76" for a Gen4 G26 without a backstrap or 2.84" with a medium backstrap (or Gen3 G26)- good for smaller hands.

Well, it is fairly thin, or at least similar to other single stacks.  I guess they finally figured they were missing a market share for concealed and back up guns.

Do they make a single-stack 10mm?

More proof glock has been beat at their own gane in the US market. Finally instead of saying "the M&P9c is like an off-brand G26" I get to say "the G43 is like an off-brand Shield".
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.

Not that I know of.  The G29 is a compact semi-auto and double-stack like the G30.  Sized like a THICK 1911 Officer's ACP.  It shoots well.

Well, they will sell.  Which means there will be people around here dumping Shields and LC9s pistols. So win win.

How's it compare to a PF9?

(not that I want to get rid of mine.  It works fine, for what it's good for.  Just not much fun to shoot.)

OK, now a G26s please...

I have always thought that 9mm Glocks could be made thinner. They seem unnecessarily thick. I think that insisting on using a polymer magazine has a lot to do with it.
