Springtime in Oklahoma! (DUCK!)
« on: March 25, 2015, 08:12:39 PM »
Big storms rolling through from SW of OKC all the way up to the MO border to the NE.
Several smaller tornados have touched down in Tulsa and surrounding area. As well as another one in Moore.
So far it is tracking to the West of my place but we've had some heavy rain and pea sized hail.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

We've added Flash Flood warnings/watches and are under a tornado warning to the south and west of my location.

Looks like the worst so far has passed out of wmenorr67's local.

And just yesterday the weatherguy mentioned that there have been NO tornadoes so far this month, which is highly unusual.

Hope all APS-ers weather this storm OK . . .

Whats a tornado? earthquake, massive fires, tsunamis, not a bad feature to not have over here.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

WHATEVER YOUR DEFINITION OF "INFRINGE " IS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.

All is good in the Norris household other than being without power since around 6 pm last night.  Power poles are down just a block and a half from my place.  Got some limbs down in the yard and had up to quarter sized hail.

Gal from where I work lost part of her roof and other damage to her house when the tornado went through her neighborhood.  She lives 3 blocks from the mobile home park that had the fatality last night.

Those of you on FB should be able to see some pictures of the sky that I took.

Gotta be careful where you practice your roundhouse kick, Chuck.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

Still no power at the house.  PSO states on their website that they hope to have all service restored by noon tomorrow.
