Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Peter King hates him?the golden seal of approval
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Yep, I was initially very negative about him running.  Oh, sure the Usual Suspects hated him on the left.  But getting the Bushes and the likes of Peter King (R-North Ireland) definitely score points in his favor.

In all fairness, an AZ lawyer named Ted Cruz has owned that site since 2004.

Totally off topic, but does anyone else think Peter King looks kinda like Denethor, the mad Steward of Gondor?

Sometimes who a man's enemies are say a lot about him.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Anyone who manages to get mucho hate from both Democrats and Republicans is an interesting pick.

He is a pretty good speaker also in a number of different arenas.  For the Senate seat, he defeated a long time state level office holder who spent a great deal of money and who was establishment guy.  Dewhurst had the news/talk radio shows nearly blanketed with commercials leading up to the election and still lost.

He's not sufficiently gaunt, but there's quite a resemblance.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
