Firefox Reader View
« on: June 03, 2015, 10:01:36 AM »
I just got an auto-update to Firefox this morning that includes "Reader View". The function may have already  been available in add-ons, but I don't check there much. Anyway, I highly approve.  Iwent to the Fox news site this morning, where stories are generally cluttered with all kinds of extraneous sidebars, etc. that AdBlocker doesn't catch. The Reader View icon popped up in my URL bar, and I clicked it for giggles. Turned the story I wanted to read into a plain text page. MUCH easier reading. It automatically turns itself off when you browse back to a home page, other site, etc.

Anyway, thumbs up. Check it out if you're a Firefox user.

That sounds like the Facebook Purity app. I see everything I want to, and nothing I dont.

I tried it at home last night.

I like it.

Wish I had access to it at the office, but our only options here are IE or Chrome.

Trying it now...pretty sweet.  Thanks Ben.
