So, in addition to every other demonstrable flaw in his candidacy, Jeb is a pussy.

That speech, only in Spanish, insults the illegal Iranians, illegal Syrians, illegal Turks, illegal Chinese, illegal -  oh, hell!  everybody who is in the US illegally who does not speak Spanish as their first language.  I think they should all get on buses and protest at JB's next campaign stop.  With signs - "Jeb hates illegal aliens who are not Hispanic!"

We'd probably need to bring in Homeland Security to maintain order.  I hear ICE and CBP would be available due to lack of other activity scheduled.

You know, why do we keep paying attention to these people? They are not respectable people. They are not capable people. They are not leaders. What exactly do they have going for them that makes them worthy of our time? Their power comes from our attention. What a bad, bad habit we have.

Anybody who wants the position is, by definition, incapable of holding it.  Anybody who is capable of holding the position will refuse the position.

I am not sure I want Trump in charge of anything, but I like that he is at least close to actually speaking his mind and he isn't letting the media run him over.  It is refreshing.

It also appears to be smoking out a lot of the snakes running as Republicans.

I am FAR more likely to vote for Trump than I am Bush.

And I really don't want to vote for Trump.

Most especially one that has all the bad traits of GW Bush and few of the positives.

The other comment I would say is that all the other Republican Candidates and establishment people should be taking notes on how Trump is handling the media and questions in general.  Trump might be a disaster as a President, but I like the way he isn't running scared and letting the media push him around.

. . . Trump might be a disaster as a President . . .
I'll take Trumpian bombast over Obamunist malice and Clintonian amorality any day . . . and seriously, much of what Trump is saying today makes a lot of sense - at least, more than what some others are saying.

How much of what he says today is for real? Well, there's the rub . . .

Despite how he's polling, I still have a hard time taking Trump seriously, and I think he made a mistake when he insulted McCain's war record, especially when he off-handedly included all POWs in the insult; I mean, there's plenty to dislike about McCain (I've held him in low regard since the Keating Five mess) but I would have left his war record alone.

Jeb? Uh uh. He was credible as Florida's governor, but he likes illegal aliens too much for my taste.

Right now, I like Cruz . . . and we could do worse than Walker. But I'm having a hard time warming up to most of the GOP field, which only looks good when compared to Hillary. I think this is going to be another election where I hold my nose, suppress my gag reflex, and vote against the DEM for the lesser evil . . . which is still evil.  :'(
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

I kinda like Governor Goodhair.  (that $10000 college degree thing that everyone laughed at him about?  Brilliant!)  And his criminal indictment is a plus.  He just needs to come up with a good answer for when people ask him about embarrassing himself at the debates last go-round.

Trump's strategy relies heavily on "Tell me what you want to hear and I'll say it". He is just mouthing off and really has no substance or seriousness. "They are doing it wrong, I'll do better" is also one of my favorites, no discussion on what is wrong or how he will do it better.

"I'm going to build a wall!"  ;/ Want to get rid of illegal aliens? Throw the AMERICANS who hire them in prison for forty year terms... yeah, but that won't make you popular, now will it?... and there isn't much to be skimmed off the top in that, unlike say a major, gigantic civil engineering project.

In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if he sold off all Federal land to the Chinese, because yeah... he's a real american hero Business Man!  Goooo Joe Trump!
