. . . Trump might be a disaster as a President . . .
I'll take Trumpian bombast over Obamunist malice and Clintonian amorality any day . . . and seriously, much of what Trump is saying
today makes a lot of sense - at least, more than what some others are saying.
How much of what he says
today is for real? Well, there's the rub . . .
Despite how he's polling, I still have a hard time taking Trump seriously, and I think he made a mistake when he insulted McCain's war record, especially when he off-handedly included
all POWs in the insult; I mean, there's plenty to dislike about McCain (I've held him in low regard since the Keating Five mess) but I would have left his war record alone.
Jeb? Uh uh. He was credible as Florida's governor, but he likes illegal aliens too much for my taste.
Right now, I like Cruz . . . and we could do worse than Walker. But I'm having a hard time warming up to most of the GOP field, which only looks good when compared to Hillary. I think this is going to be another election where I hold my nose, suppress my gag reflex, and vote against the DEM for the lesser evil . . . which is still evil.
