Islamic sex dolls.  Do they blow themselves up?

I never really 'got' slot cars.
Building the tracks was kind of fun...
They always went flinging off the track in corners.
Lint or carpet fibers would then gum up the motor.

Did you watch the video?  Players control the cars with smart phones.  Players have "weapons" and can change lanes to pass, etc.

That's pretty cool. Would  buy if I knew of a kid the right age.

But I liked slot cars too.

Too slow. If they aren't fast enough to fly off in the corners, what's the point? Where's the skill? Speed control was what slot car racing was all about ya know? Ya had to know where to go flat out and how much speed to carry through each curve. This looks boring as hell.
I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

"so I ended up getting the above because I didn't want to make a whole production of sticking something between my knees and cranking. To me, the cranking on mine is pretty effortless, at least on the coarse setting. Maybe if someone has arthritis or something, it would be more difficult for them." - Ben

Back in my youth, I had an Aurora slot track set and around half a dozen cars.  I'll admit that racing was kind of boring, but the better aspect for me was that I learned a lot about electricity and electric motors from working with my dad, tinkering with the cars and track.  Not much like it on the market these days...
