Cleopatra 2525
« on: November 04, 2015, 03:53:53 PM »
Found on Netflix. A two season series, I think from USA Channel, about a stripper that is awoken from cryogenic sleep in the year 2525. It's about what you might expect from the title. Campy, with bad special effects and acting (though with some good comedy, both intentional and unintentional). What makes it unique is that it has pre-Firefly Zoe as one of three scantily clad futuristic agents/ warriors running around shooting laser beams out of their wrist guns.

Yes, but it's a Fem-bot.
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

There is a dude-bot in that series, at least at some point. That's one of those shows that aired very late at night, on one of the broadcast channels around here. Like, you know, Baywatch Nights.

I remember when that was on, it would play on Saturday, I'm pretty sure, on the regular channels. Never actually watched it.

To me, the cranking on mine is pretty effortless, at least on the coarse setting. Maybe if someone has arthritis or something, it would be more difficult for them." - Ben
