Some marketing company settled a suit for sending out fax advertisements. If you have a fax number and submit a claim form to the class action counsel, you can receive a pro rata share of the settlement not to exceed $ 25. This settlement amount is subject to reduction if the money runs out.

Total settlement: $ 1.5 million
Incentive award to plaintiff: $ 15,000
Class action plaintiff counsel legal fees: 1/3rd of total settlement, or $ 500,000
Class action plaintiff counsel expenses: not to exceed $ 55,000
Total amount left to pay all claimants: $ 930,000
Maximum number of claimants receiving $ 25: 37,200
Maybe I should give up dealing with angry and unhappy patients and look for some of those sweet class-action gigs.
