Look more closely.  Do you really have any .9mm, .223mm, or .22mm ammo?

That is my favorite part, the way they screw up by trying too hard. Sort of like the journalist that reported a suspect had a ".38 caliber special revolver." I presume that's a revolver that delivers its projectiles via short bus.

They could have just said thousands of rounds.  ;/

I think part of it is to make the .22 lr sound more like something to be scared of.

So they were using needle guns?

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

I want to know what a "pipe bomb type" device is. It would appear from the description that it may be similar to -- but is not -- a pipe bomb, so WHAT IS IT?

They were hiding components of pipe bombs behind the sheetrock in their bathroom.....

To "over-zealous" law enforcement types a pipe bomb is anything that in their wildest imagination might possibly, with enough pixie dust and unicorn tears, be made into something that in the right semi-parallel dimension with slightly different laws of physics, be made into something that from just the right perspective, standing on one foot and squinting could, by a moron, be assumed to be something slightly dangerous.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Got a left over piece of pipe from your last home plumbing repair? Got an open bag of fertilizer from the last time you fertilized your lawn? Or worse, do you shoot muzzleloaders?  You sir, are in possession of pipe bomb materials (if they want you to be).

Don't ignore the headline either.  What are these "ballistics" they found at the home?

I was terrified that they had the tools required to make pipe bombs.  I understand that just anyone, even under-aged kids, can buy them from Harbor Freight, no questions asked.  And you can even order them over the internet from the big supply houses and get them through the mail.

I find it shocking that interstate dealing in those tools is unregulated and unlicensed under the commerce clause.

Terrible situation. Just terrible.

Something has to be done about that illicit trade.

WHATEVER YOUR DEFINITION OF "INFRINGE " IS, YOU SHOULDN'T BE DOING IT.
