Some interesting stuff in there about his gunfights, and it points to the abject ineffectiveness of the old .38 Special police loading.

.38spl 158gr LRN, the widowmaker.

Before NYPD went to 9mm FMJ, they transitioned to .38spl 158gr LSWC.  Given the option, I would have stuck with a .38spl revolver and the LSWC rather than 9mm FMJ.  Of course, NYPD uses JHP after Amadou Diallo.
