And..

Paul Ryan

Jeb Bush

At one point or another, there is always someone people are trying to anoint as the chosen candidate.  I even recall that some radio callers early last fall arguing that Republicans should just unite behind one candidate and concentrate on fighting Hilary.  There is a good reason we don't do that.

I'm am very pleased by the fall of Macro Rubio.

Even if I were to grant him the best possible interpretation of his actions that he was just inexperienced and got rolled by the power brokers in Washington over the Gang of 8, I would still revel in his demise pour encourager les autres.

Act against the wishes of the people who elected you, see your political ambitions go down in flames.

Maybe he would have been the second coming of Reagan. We can survive losing another conservative standard bearer better than we can survive an "elite" class willing to spurn the wishes of their constituents.

EDIT: I'm going to leave the misspelling in because it's hilarious.

I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

According to Trump, it's Micro Rubio.

No, I meant we need to look at him in the Macro sense, as to what role his fall has for the body politic.

Yeah, that's it!

Too late.  He's yesterday's news.
Hey....he was my 2nd choice.  But he has suspended his campaign.  He's out.

She completely ignores the utter failure of Republican Congressional leaders who have caved in to Obama on everything for the last 4 years.

Today's news is he's not gonna run for senate. Wonder if those emails are causing that

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.
