IF your finger is in the trigger guard WHICH IT SHOULDN'T BE and you're pressing the button hard on a lasergrip style laser sight to test the switch, it's almost impossible to avoid gripping the trigger hard enough to discharge it --even with a DA handgun.
So let's ban all laser sights.
Actually, the red dot* on most of them is hard to acquire in lighted circumstances, even at an indoor range**. Five'll getcha eight it actually was working, he just couldn't acquire the dot at the range. Betcha, betcha.
Anyhow, this one violates several of the Cooper Rules. Like keep your booger hook off the bang switch until you want a bang. Somethin' like that.
I love laser sights, but they've got to be used as intended, where intended. I've got them on three of my personal defense handguns.

*They make green laser sights, but if the background of the target area is green foliage, they're hard to acquire, too.
** Especially with the black armor plate at indoor ranges, since it hardly reflects that dancing little dot at all. Even at outdoor ranges, that tiny dot may be hitting the backstop 100 yards away. Good luck finding it then, too.
