Liberty University To Allow Pistols In Dorms

Those with CCW will be allowed to now store their weapons in the dorms.  University will supply safes that the individual will have to place the weapon in upon entering.

This is a win.  They had already been allowing students to carry on campus.
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

Bacon is the candy bar of meats!

Only the dead have seen the end of war!

This was how they did it at Montana State circa 2006--a safe at the dorm front desk. Where else are students supposed to keep their firearms? Actually, because I was there in the summer the dorms were not fully staffed and so the campus police chief advised I keep my firearm in my car (but I got the feeling she was annoyed that I was even asking instead of not-asking-or-telling).
Maybe a rare occurence, but then you only have to get murdered once to ruin your whole day.
