36 years ago Arab separatists take over the Iranian embassy in London, and the SAS make their TV debut.   Good thing the hostage takers weren't watching or it could have been a bloodbath.   There also would have been a few less terrorists, as the SAS were going to take the hostage takers back into the embassy for some summary justice when it was pointed out that they were on camera.


Lots of lessons learned by all sides with this one....
