Houston shoot out!

I guess one can defend against the evil black rifle with a handgun. 9mm no less too! I guess this puts that myth to rest.

The super powerful evil black rifle didn't magically slay everyone it hit either.  I am glad the guy survived.  He took action when he probably didn't have to.

I shot a couple of my handguns at 50 and 100 yards today.  Just a little worse than minute of man at 100 yards with the CZ 75 SP01.  My XD mod 2 45ACP with a 3.3" barrel was a little more than that.  Most of the shots were still on the big 48" tall target.  At least I know the sights aren't way off at distance.

Shot placement still matters. Who knew?

I have been thinking about working towards a more heavy duty rig for the car with a lot of ammo. Not designed for the car necessarily, but for active shooter or Limited Rule of Law situations where a Carbine might make you a little too obvious and being able to re-conceal easily is a plus. Top of my wish list is a Glock 34, but I'm flexible.

A Keltec sub2000 folds up and fits in a smallish duffle bag with a mag pouch.  I am sure there are other options for something that is easy to hide in plain site.  If you have a stash for a truck gun, something like a 30-30 levergun would work also and it is cheaper.  Even folding stock AK's don't take up much space.  If you have to re-conceal, I am not sure what would be best.

I actually have an AR Pistol, but I was thinking something more along the lines of a full size long barreled handgun that can reach out and touch. I loved my TT-33 but it had limited mag capacity, plus clunky. I do want to shoot an RIA in 22 TCM.

A friend of mine uses something that looks like a tennis racket bag designed to hold a SBR carbine. Its brightly colored with bright graphics on it that does not in any way scream 'GUN!'

I have always been tempted by the double stack 22 TCM/9mm pistol that RIA sells.  I am not sure I would want to shoot the 22 TCM so much, but it would also get me a 1911 in 9mm.  Just always wanted something else more when I had the money to spend.
