It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Well, once they get to that O-10, I reckon they're the same kind of disconnected political wonks as police chiefs.

I imagine his retirement plans got messed up.  Someone probably is paying him a good bit of money to do this.  You can still hate him.  A gun control pusher is pretty low in my book.

I pointed that out to a friend. He's a disgraced officer, adulterer, and proven liar who can not be trusted with any sort of confidential material. The left is simply the only group that would tolerate him at this point and through that allow him to remain a political player in the national spotlight.
