In case you missed it, Gary Johnson caved... BUSTED
« on: June 18, 2016, 04:01:16 PM »
I'm reading accounts that the Libertarian Party candidate has expressed a willingness to bargain away rights for security.   Off to confirm... brb

I can find no corroboration for that assertion.  Hard though it be for me to believe, I was misled by someone on teh innarwebz.

He did accidentally show his true character a week or two ago, when the other guy running against him conceded, and gave him a flintlock (or percussion, not sure which) pistol as a symbolic gesture.  Johnson accepted it, and then was caught throwing it in the trash shortly thereafter.  It wasn't an act of disrespect for the 2nd Amendment, it was a disrespect of common decency.  I won't ever vote for him again (I have in the past.)

Me, too.  I guess I'll put my rubber gloves on when I pull the voting machine handle for the least undesirable candidate.

Wille E Coyote is a noble and honorable candidate.

It was a replica of George Washington's pistol so, flintlock. Pretty dick move on Johnson's part.
Sucks when even the libertarian messiah shows his true colors.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Samuel Adams
