Personally I like good quality grass fed beef.

But I also like good quality grain finished beef.

Actually I pretty much just like a good hunk of charred bloody bovine. But can appreciate the difference between good quality grass or grain fed beef.

I think the whole "grass fed beef" nonsense was a marketing ploy to sell cheaper beef. Much less expense just running them in off the range to the slaughter house than to finish on grain/corn for 90 days or so.
Sell it as the better, greener way and there will be plenty of idjits jump on the bandwagon. Hell, look at how many people eat freaking snails. I still think the whole escargot thing was some pissed off French chef getting even with his boss by serving him armored garden slugs, put enough butter, salt and garlic on it some people will eat about anything.

When I was a kid, all anyone ever talked about was grain or corn fed beef.  When all the Omega 3 and 6 fatty acid stuff got big, suddenly grass fed beef was the Thing.  I grew up on grass fed beef wrapped in butcher paper.  Ground beef, round steak, and roast beef (usually stew).  It was what we had.

Oh, and don't let ISIS know where Missouri is. I doubt they'd care about the difference between cows and sheep.
