According to this, lesbian couples in New Jersey have been told by their health insurer that they are ineligible for fertility treatment benefits until they have demonstrated they cannot get pregnant naturally.

Cue massive outrage and lawsuit.

The women are arguing that they’re being discriminated against by New Jersey law because straight women who are infertile don’t have to pay for fertility treatments, while gay women who are infertile do.  Infertility in New Jersey is defined as the inability to impregnate another person, the inability to carry a pregnancy to live birth or the inability to conceive after one or two years of unprotected sex, depending on the woman’s age.  Because, you know, biology and stuff.

So basically, human biology is discriminatory against gay and lesbian couples,  you guys.  That’s essentially the problem here.  Two chicks can’t have a baby together without a dude, and so they want to be considered infertile as a result.  OF COURSE they are infertile without a dude. That’s BIOLOGY.

By "fertility treatments" are they referring to artificial insemination?

No, no, no, no.  What is this biology thing of which you refer.  It was declared to be discriminatory a few years ago and if you say the word you are a hater and a bigot. :P

The Supreme Court just ruled that lesbians should get marriage licenses, despite the total lack of "a dude." Why should they need a dude to get anything else for which a dude (or a stud, I guess I should say) is logically required?

Oh, and if you wanted same-sex marriage to be legal, you don't get to laugh at this. Sorry.

Then, let them get all the sperm they want from their "husband."

Yes. It's considered an elective procedure and is not covered by insurance unless the patient is consudered infertile.

Careful what you wish for.....
Liberals believe that a woman, found raped and strangled with her own pantyhose is morally superior to a women with a dead rapist at her feet and a gun in her hands.

Hmmm ...

I don't recall any constitutional right to get pregnant, or to have a child.

Think where this might lead if these wackos prevail. Next up: two "married" male dudes figure out that neither or them can get pregnant, so their "right" to become parents is being discriminated against. So they sue the government to do ... something. Pay for surrogate parentage? Pay for however it is that a male can be artificially implanted with a uterus and an embryo?

Where is the constitutional right to get married?
There are five things, above all else, that make life worth living: a good relationship with God, a good woman, good health, good friends, and a good cigar.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.  One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
