Chelsea (formerly Bradley) Manning, of course. Apparently he/she wants his/her sentence reduced before Obama leaves office. Seems a bit ridiculous to proclaim that he/she accepts full responsibility for his/her actions when he/she is asking for the sentence to be reduced by 29 years -- which is 83 percent reduction. That doesn't sound like accepting full responsibility -- it sounds more like accepting 17 percent responsibility.
I was amused to see that the New York Times is sticking with its lone holdout position of still using Mr., Mrs., or Ms. in front of last names. I think the NYT is currently the only newspaper in the country (maybe the world) that does that. And they refer to Manning as "Ms. Manning" despite the fact the he/she hasn't undergone gender reassignment surgery. Which is why I refer to him/her as "him/her." (Privately, I refer to it as "it." After all, it isn't female, but it doesn't want to be male. The only thing left is "it.") As far as I'm concerned he/she is still a she, but political correctness doesn't allow us to be aware of the obvious in such situations.
I think such people should be referred to as "it," but that's probably also not politically correct, so we need some new words. Not the stupid constructs the SJWs are trying to create, but something simple that adequately expresses the confused nature and status of such people. How about "himer"? Or "herim"?
