I hope everyone has a fun and enjoyable Thanksgiving!
We're flying the "missing man" formation this year, but are concentrating on fond memories vs being sad. My niece's husband came up with my three year old grand niece, and she's quite the character, so it will be smiles all around.
Pretty much the usual of stuffing faces with turkey and stuffing, then cigars on the deck with whiskey (I'm cracking open a bottle of High West Bourye today - I hope it lives up to its price!), then just standard lazing about. I might try some dove hunting this afternoon, though the populations have dropped radically here the last few years. The dog will still enjoy a walk (a short walk is all she can manage these days) with the shotgun though. :)
I was finally able to get the wood stove going this morning. It's been abnormally warm the past few weeks - we even cracked 80 a couple of times lat week. It was 33 this morning though, with more cold days forecast, so Fall is finally upon us in these parts.
