Asking for people to understand history that occurred a couple years ago is asking for a bit much with such people. They have their simple talking points, devoid of context, and that is all that matters. It's a toss up between whether the mob is swayed by their passions (chaotically or randomly) or just manipulated by a handful of folks within their group. Either way, not the type to look into detail.
