Desperately seeking [s]Susan[/s] a career

Kathy Griffin is still trying to salvage a career out of the trainwreck she created. Her solution now is to follow the Hillary Clinton playbook and blame it all on ... everybody else. I have to Give Griffin credit, though ... so far, I don't think she has blamed her implosion on the Russians.

Interesting that these failed actresses are now becoming "activists". I saw Chelsea Handler "gave up" (i.e., the ratings sucked) on her Netflix show to become an anti-Trump activist.

As I have mentioned here before, liberal actors and their wacky schemes never really bothered me in the past, at least regarding tuning into shows or movies they were in. Ever since Trump, they have gone so irrationally overboard that it is becoming difficult for me to watch some shows. I will actually say "no thanks" now to something I might otherwise like, simply because the cast has a dimwit loudmouthed "resistance fighter" in it. On the bright side, I've been getting more time to catch up on classic literature via Gutenberg. :)

Yeah, before the addition of all the bloatware.

You have hurt all my feelz (and I have extra because I weigh more, and you cisnormative white males hold my weight against me !!)
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Quote

...

She has a strict no-apology policy with her comedy and routinely refuses to offer apologies when requested by her employers. Her only two exceptions were to (barely) apologize to US Rep. James Clyburn after referring to him as a "queen" in an interview with Roll Call. As documented on her reality series, she phoned Clyburn's office with an apology but said to only relay it if her comment "came up."

The second time was when she had to publicly apologize after inciting a major backlash following a photo spread shot by Tyler Shields depicting her holding a bloodied decapitated faux head of US President Donald Trump (she was an active supporter of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign), the controversial stunt was considered a career killer for her. After posting it on her social media she was routinely hounded with anger and controversy and had to promptly delete it. A little while later she took back her apology stating that she felt she didn't actually do anything wrong, resulting in a further backlash against her.

...

Yeah, shut up.

I dismiss her entirely.... as far as I'm concerned she no longer exists.  If she ever appears on TV and I see it, I will change channels.

All the criticism by mostly liberal Democrats directed at Donald Trump has gotten to me. Corker's criticism however irritated me quite a bit to the point that I might not vote for him if he ever ran for re-election.  Trump is no angel, but he doesn't deserve a lot of the criticism.
