Very little information, but the gist of the headline is, "Hit and run driver runs over five people, one dead." At the bottom of the story is a single line about the five people attempting to steal the driver's vehicle.

I will be interested to see how this pans out, as we have in the past discussed here the use of one's car as a defensive weapon. I don't know if the driver did a "revenge run" or hit the people as he/she fled an attack. The cop statements make it sound like the driver is the criminal. Anyway, I wanna see how this goes down when more information comes in.

"victims" are all undocumented. Driver is a citizen and will be crucified on the cross of political correctness.

Guys, this is fox screwing the pooch on reporting.

Driver was apparently nuts, attacked people with an axe, then stalled the vehicle before crashing through the people on the sidewalk by deliberately accelerating towards them.

"Too bad" is probably not the right phrasing, but I'd really be interested in some "vehicle as a defensive weapon" cases, especially in CCW unfriendly states, especially against multiple attackers.
