Oh holy *expletive deleted*it this is going to be monumental!

I wonder how it's going to work out with the recent relvelations that the Clinton campaign was ACTIVELY working to promote a Trump candidacy because they thought he was the worst of the worst and was completely unelectable?

I wonder if the intention was to somehow use it for the midterm elections. By the time they get into discovery and any actual testimony it will be well past. They would probably drop it before they actually had to prove anything or it blows up in their faces.

Calling it an “all-out assault on our democracy,” the Democratic National Committee filed the civil suit in federal district court in Manhattan

Well, they are right. This lawsuit can be considered an assault on democracy.

I doubt they've given any thought to proving much of anything. They just want the press to have an excuse to keep peddling the collusion fantasy, while ignoring the actual wrong-doing of the Democrats involved.

Andrew McCabe, former deputy FBI director now referred by the inspector general for criminal prosecution over leaks to the media, is planning to sue the Trump administration for defamation and wrongful termination.

  • You're not diggin'
Given that the IG has recommended a criminal investigation into McCabe's actions, I don't think the "wrongful termination" claim is going to fly.

Someone (or a number of someones) really needs to sue to negate Obama's election. Throw in all the birther "evidence" and make the DNC wiggle for awhile.

Meanwhile, a reporter who covered the Clinton campaign has written a book. It shows us that Hillary was completely in denial. As always, she was the victim of a vast, right-wing conspiracy. Losing wasn't her fault.

“Of all the Brooklyn aides, Jen Palmieri had the most pleasant bedside manner,” Chozick writes. “That made her the designated deliverer of bad news to Hillary. But not this time. She told Robby there was no way she was going to tell Hillary she couldn’t win. That’s when Robby, drained and deflated, watching the results with his team in a room down the hall from Hillary’s suite, labored into the hallway of the Peninsula to break the news. Hillary didn’t seem all that surprised. ‘I knew it. I knew this would happen to me….’ Hillary said, now within a couple of inches of his face. ‘They were never going to let me be president.’

Nope. The loss couldn't have been because she wasn't a good candidate. "They" were never going to let her be president.

  • I spent a week in that town one night....
IT only makes sense.  Since she lied, cheated, and stole the nomination from Bernie.  Trump (and the Russians) must have lied, cheated, and stolen the election from Hillary.

This is wonderful, news of the midterm strategy we've been hoping for.

I do not like Trump. I voted for him, never felt so compelled to vote in my life. I like some of what he has done, in general, I approve of his job. If we had decent news coverage we might see some of that. But again, would personally not get on well at all with him. Know he is not a conservative. A wash, I hate conservatives about as much as commies these days. But far from my first choice in candidates. A feeling shared by many.

So Dems, you want four more years of Trump, some Pence, and maybe some Trump Junior? Because this is how you get it. I voted the way I did because eff you. So did many others. That's going to be a whisper compared to the next one.

  • ...shall not be infringed.
Oh, hell, I might as well 'fess up and admit it.

I rigged the election.

By voting for Trump.

Mea culpa.
