I was considering meal prepping on road trips so I wouldn't have to eat fast food/junk on the road too.  Trip to Florida coming up means several meals on the go.

I'm not touting stuff from Amazon, just pointing out that road trip cooking has been a "thing" for a while.

Go Asian. I saw a family take over a rest stop. They came in, sat all over the floor, plugged in the rice cooker and electric kettle and proceeded to work on what looked like a ten course lunch. I usually just pack cold stuff, or trail mix, apples, boiled eggs. That will get me through enough states that I enter the land of Steak and Shake.

I've warmed food on an older vehicle before.  I'd just rather not mess with anything under the hood of the truck these days.
