Quarantined Flight at JFK

This is an interesting one. Apparently at this time the CDC is letting "well" passengers leave after taking their temperatures. However, with only the info in the article, with over 100 passengers who were sick, it seems you would want to keep everyone quarantined (separating the sick for the not sick (yet) passengers) until you knew what the heck it was. Especially from a flight out of the ME.

They are probably concerned with Middle East Respiratory Syndrome, AKA Camel Flu. About a 30% or so mortality. It's fine as long as it stays in the ME.

I fail to see how allowing almost everyone to go home in any way constitutes a quarantine. This country is so *expletive deleted*ed up -- let a dog or a cat or a canary arrive from another country and they get locked up fort two weeks, but a jumbo jet full of people who may have been exposed to a virulent flu? No problem, have a nice day.
