Mom called early this morning -- my Dad was helicoptered from the hospital in their town to a very good regional medical center. He was getting out of bed, went over, and apparently smashed his head into the door frame. He's got a fractured neck, but has movement in his hands and feet, which is really good news.
He's currently waiting for a surgical evaluation to see what they're going to do about the fractures, and I'm piling *expletive deleted*it into the car to head for Pennsylvania.
