Good for them. It's about time, and I sympathize with them having to go through the same thing we did - an election and a national vote, and the losers throwing a tantrum and trying to invalidate the law and the will of the voters.

If nothing else, at least Conspiracy Bro at work was proven wrong. "They" didn't stop Brexit.

Has the entire nation descended into anarchy yet?
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.

Happy Independence Day!
The 1st of Feb just doesn't have the same ring to it as The 4th of July

Edit: 31st of Jan. It actually was at 11:00pm Brussels time, thought it took place at midnight

Story I saw originally said 11pm Brussels. Looks like they have since changed it to 11pm London

“Fear of death increases in exact proportion to increase in wealth,” Hemingway once said. Today, many of us have become rich in the currency of cowardice. We have so many things and so few experiences. We are desperate to live as long as possible, not as large as possible. We are so afraid to say goodbye to the world that we never say hello.
