LA Times Says "Cancel the National Anthem"

From what I can tell, this was not in the opinion section. The reasoning seems to be ridiculous for more than the normal (racist!) reasons. They are arguing the lyrics are composed of words that "few people understand". What? Is the vocabulary of the song too much for recent graduates of public education? That would be total Idiocracy reasoning.

The stars tried singing Imagine to make us feel better about the Rona. I guess it is easy to imagine a world with no possessions if you just lost your job. Commie claptrap. I think it is time for me to go learn the rest of the verses of the National Anthem, make it Italian anthem long.
