That can be a temperature protection feature. Was it hot during storage or while you drove it? Did it sit in a hot garage for a while before you started charging it?
It was in the car trunk but not particularly hot today. 81 when I got home. It wasn’t hot in the insulated garage shop and nothing felt warm to touch when I inboxed it. I figure it’s probably a bad charger since the batteries were mfg in feb 2020 and both were coding.
So now I have an extra batt and charger coming in 3-5 days. Makes it a better deal if everything works.
My corded Milwaukee tools have been great. My cordless Dewalt tools have been ok. I’m going to have to pick one brand for cordless and go forward with it.
