Global Warming expedition called off - Too cold!
« on: March 13, 2007, 06:28:00 AM »
Loony Ann Bancroft is at it again...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070312/ap_on_sc/polar_trek_1

My favorite excuse from the GW crowd:

"They were experiencing temperatures that weren't expected with global warming," Atwood said. "But one of the things we see with global warming is unpredictability."

These two are the lamest excuse for 'Explorers' I've ever seen. When it gets a little uncomfortable, the airplane or helicopter arrives and hauls their asses back to warm, comfy civilization. Bah!

Greenies are always weenies.  Pablum-fed liberals who feel guilty for their own wealth and comfort.  Not a one of them can survive a winter in Northern Indiana.  Blubbering softies, bah! angry

This is a wonderful article and exposes Global Warming for the fraud that it is.

It didn't used to be, but it is now, with global warming scientists' models that can predict what's going to happen a hundred years from now.

Just went to their website and read some of the blog entries. Funny stuff!
All of the apologists seem to be from Minnesota; relatives perhaps?

I signed on as Al Gore and asked them if they were going to apologize for making Global Warming a laughingstock? grin

Well, after hurricanes Katrina and Rita, the global warming crowd all predicted that we were seeing the start of a trend of more frequent and more violent hurricanes, and that 2006 would be even worse than 2005.

And to see just how right they were, let's tally up the hurricanes that hit the USA:
Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

Part of the scientific method requires that you analyze the data to see if your hypothesis is correct.  If you conclude that no matter what the data shows it “proves” your hypothesis, you have departed from the scientific method.  I think that’s where they went wrong. rolleyes

As an aside, would flying a distance to bang the drum that humans are polluting the air with, among other things, airplanes, would that contribute to global warming?

No, the holy motivations of such an endeavour would offset the carbon spewed out by the jet engines.

Good intentions=wipes out all carbon emissions

I would like to use this thread as an opportunity to announce that El Tejon is selling Carbon Offsets.

You send me a UPS truck full of ammunition (.22, 9mm, .45acp, .38, .223s, .308s, .50usmg) and I will officially absolve you of your carbon sin.  This way guilty Leftists will be able to jet around the world knowing that THEY are guilt free and EVERYONE ELSE is polluting the world.

Do the proceeds go to the children, America, apple pie, or Mom?  I have to know before I invest a box of 38.

Actually, the flying of airplanes helps to reduce global warming. The chemtrails they leave are laced with aluminum oxide which reflects the sun's rays and cools the earth. cheesy
