If any of you know of video, please post it.

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – A sheriff’s deputy had to deploy a Taser on his own K-9 officer after it bit a cow while on a burglary call.

The Instagram post I saw said someone was trying to develop a new Rock, Paper, Scissors game.  I don't think it will catch on.

Oh man, I so hope there is video. That's straight out of a Tex Avery cartoon.

I searched youtube, but all I see is a couple news reports with nothing but stock footage.  Maybe badge cam video isn't released yet.  Based on some of the links I see, the story is off the department website and was just text only.

Searching youtube for K9 videos brings up a lot gruesome stuff.

I believe in Colorado, dogs and wildlife attacking or harassing domestic livestock may be shot.  Like with a gun.

The attacker being a K9 officer sure complicates things.

I guess it's true if it came off the Department website, but I too would like to see the video or an explanation from an official  Department spokesman.

That is true in a lot of areas. I was driving down the street back in WA when about 8 deer bolted across the street followed closely by a GSD type K9. After not hitting them I followed as the dog was chasing them and was on the phone with the local LEO. Basically he said if I could get a safe shot and the dog was still harassing the deer I could stop it, but he did add a caveat, because I was in town if anyone called it in he would have to investigate and possibly cite me for discharging a firearm in the city limits. In the end the dog chased the deer into the woods and then went back to his owner, someone at the local storage unit. I stopped and tried to talk to her about controlling her dog and how the law would allow someone to shoot it for harassing wildlife. She got pretty indignant, so I told her if I ever saw it again I would shoot her dog and that was that. I never saw the dog back there again.

That's true even here, in Cali.  Some idiot kept walking their dog on a neighboring rancher's land and it attacked his livestock more than once.  Said rancher warned the dog owner to watch their dog better or it would be shot.  The dog was let out, went after a newborn calf (IIRC?) and promptly got whacked.  Dog owner tried to sue the rancher and wound up eating *expletive deleted*it because of the livestock defense law.
