As the title says I'm looking for 1.7" centerline height 30mm scope mount that doesn't cost an arm and a leg as it seems like most seem to be in the $250-$300 range. OUCH!
Need a touch more height than most mounts for an AR usually provide as most of them are in the 1.5" CL range. Before anyone brings up Monstrum (yes I know cheap) makes one (Deadlock series) but I tried it just to see and it pulls and leans noticeably to the left as the screws are tightened, even left a bad review on Amazon about it.

May go the 0.5" riser plus 1.2" rings route but wondering if anyone here is aware of any mounts that meet my criteria.
Anyone have an opinion ya or nay on going the riser/ring route as I can't get it out of my head that adds another point of failure. This would be going on a 308 so recoil is somewhat an issue.

Thanks ahead of time.

And no big thumb screws sticking out. I hate that.
