Really harmless but if you're afraid of spiders this one is for you.

'A big no': Huge, invasive parachuting spiders will begin to cover entire East Coast, experts say

#8 shot is more than sufficient.
For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.

I guess I'll need to load up some more shot rounds for the SAA in a few years.
Sometimes we carry more weight then we owe.
And sometimes goes on and on and on.

12ga Dragon's Breath or a Flame Thrower, even the crappy Elon Musk one is better than nothing.
I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

  • But they're SUPPOSED to be "military-style."
Interesting, New York.  Will the pigeons eat the spiders?  Or will...

I can almost see dogfights between the birds and the spiders.

  • I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.
The article says they're harmless, that the bite aint much.
But, I've seen enough movies to know that they will swarm your face and sting your eyeballs, then devour you while you can't run away! :old:
Politicians and bureaucrats are considered productive if they swarm the populace like a plague of locust, devouring all substance in their path and leaving a swath of destruction like a firestorm. The technical term is "bipartisanship".

Reminds me of the horror tales around the campfire...

"...and after they drove screaming away from the one-armed crazy killer, they found his hook stuck in the car door handle..."

So you're the one who writes those screenplays, eh?  Good to know.

I'd favor a 20ga with #8.  A spider floating like a leaf in the wind can make abrupt course changes, need a quick handling firearm to keep up with them.

The reminds me, I have a Ruger GP100 in 22 LR (10 shot) with a speed loader.  I think that would work with CCI shot shells.
