This popped up in my news feed. Putin not looking so hot during a meeting.

https://twitter.com/TSJPhillips/status/1517217288814055425

To me it looks like he's trying not to throw up the entire time. Shallow breathing, constant swallowing, and constantly fidgeting. That plus a general appearance of puffiness and being slumped down in his chair. He's not in good health.

Ironically many say Hitler had Parkinson's as well.

Got diagnosed with PD at 38.  I see absolutely nothing Parkinsonian about his movements.  The sped up version kinda looks like it, but at normal speeds nothing about the video says PD.

There a 4 “cardinal” symptoms of PD.  Bradykinesia (slowness of movement, typically unilateral at early stages, bilateral when advanced).  Resting tremor (so a tremor, most common in the fingers, starts on one side, eventually involves more of the body and becomes bilateral but one side is always worse).  Rigidity (most common is so called cogwheel rigidity typically in ankles, knees, wrists and elbows).  Postural instability (uncommon at early stages, basically when standing if pushed or pulled by the shoulders balance can’t be regained).

All of the finger and foot movements from Putin were not tremors.  Fidgeting would be a better description.  He looks more nauseous than anything.  Whether from a vodka bender or chemotherapy/radiation therapy or something else is impossible to say from here.

Lots of theories about Hitler.  Tertiary syphilis and PD being big ones.  Not sure about PD, not a lot of good videos to assess that.  Some symptoms fit, but a lot don’t.  Syphilis makes more sense, especially with the delusional behavior.

Other thing to point out is that Pd doesn’t kill you directly, and it’s quite possible to live with it for decades.  What usually kills people with PD are things like aspiration pneumonia because they develop difficulty swallowing so they can aspirate food or drinks.  Also heart attacks because their body has been too worn out by years of unstoppable movements.  Also falls causing head injury or hip fractures are common causes of death.  Dementia is a higher risk than the general population but most PD patients never develop dementia.

Thanks, that's the kind of input I was looking for.
So not Parkinson's

Putin is 69 years old.

To me he looks like he is having some sort of congestive heart failure.

6 "Oligarchs" found dead now since the invasion (5) or shortly before (1).
All ruled "suicides"
3 included wife and kid(s).

Billionaires don't just suddenly start committing suicide en mass. (6 in 4 months)

Did all of those people speak out against Putin and/or the war in Ukraine?

Or maybe there were no heirs to their fortune so Russia gets the money.

Or maybe Putin is settling old scores before he drops dead.

Or (really screwing down the tinfoil hat), maybe it's not Putin.

I had a thought this AM at breakfast.

I wonder if Putin thinks he is the first horseman of the Apocalypse?

I've had all kinds of possibilities running through my head from it's Putin to Russian anti-Putins to even Ukrainians.

Not being Russians, let alone familiar with with various oligarchs and their intrigues it’s impossible to say with any level of certainty.  I wouldn’t put it past any of those groups.

Video of Putin's hand shaking so bad he pulled it in against his body, then a stumble when he tries to step forward.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg3HgN11nG0

I saw another video talking about how he walks. They showed several shot from recent years. I noticed there is a large discrepancy in the motion of his arms as he walks. His left arm pendulums normally. His right arm stays mostly motionless.

I thought that was supposedly due to KGB training to keep the arm near the gun for weapon retention or something.

Mark Felton in a video if he can be trusted on the matter stated that was an old KGB thing so that the right hand was always near the gun

The right arm thing is common in right handed people that strong side carry guns.  My left arm doesn’t swing as much as the right due to PD.

I’ll watch that video later when I have time and comment on it.

It looked to me more like he was waving the guy over and then after that, yeah, muscle memory.

I’m with Ben.  That seemed a little odd, but easily explained by being only an 8 second snippet, and quite plausibly him waving the guy over.  To conclude that was evidence of a health problem I’d need to see a much longer unedited video, and preferably for more than one angle.
