Don't spend it all in one place. And be sure to save 10 percent.

Actually got included in some settlement a number of years ago, can't even remember who or for what now. Do remember getting a check for $0.26 as my part of the settlement.

Bet the lawyers made millions.

So after filling out that detailed application form, even revealing the deep secret about my left big toe, somebody's sure to reveal that this was just a big phishing scam.

Now everybody's going to know about that toe. Curses and Drats !

Gotcha beat.  My check was for 37 cents.  IIRC, it was a settlement for a class action against Prudential Insurance.  I lost about $3k to those clowns.  Got 37 cents and some discount coupons for insurance as my restitution.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My check was 11 cents less but I wasn't out $3k.
I'm trying to remember what the heck it was for. Sometime stupid I do remember.

My mortgage company just sent me another check for overpaid escrow. Seven cents each time.
