Should I be able to buy an M60 over the counter?

Because a crew-served heavy weapon could be used to hold up a convenience store, of course.

because it's a horrendous POS and its precursor, the 1919, or its successor, the 240G are far superior weapons.  get some standards, man!

Well...you should be able to prove that you:

A.  Do not have forearms with a circumference larger than 8 inches.
B.  Own no bandannas.
C.  Are not Rambo.

Anyone caught with an M60 and any combination of the previous attributes is to be assumed plotting terrorist acts.

Or am I thinking of another gun?
