A Moral Dilema - Test
« on: August 10, 2005, 04:37:34 AM »
This test only has one question, but it's a very important one.  By giving an honest answer,  you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional  situation in which you will have to make a career determining decision.

Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific.  There is chaos all around you, caused by a hurricane, with severe flooding.  This is a flood of biblical  proportions.

You are a  photo journalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster.  The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos.   There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water.    Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.

Suddenly you see a woman in the water.   She is fighting for her life, trying not to be taken down with the debris.
You move closer.  You suddenly realize who it is.  It's Hillary Clinton!

At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take her under . . .  forever.

You have two options--you can save the life of Hillary Clinton, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful women.

SCROLL DOWN FOR THE QUESTION...

So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love
truly, Laugh uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you smile.

ok that is funny, but I would try to save her life. I think its the boy scout in me, even if osama bin laden was int he same situation and I knew I'd try and save hime too.

Werewolf,
High contrast color.  Easier to convert the image to B&W later than to colorize it.

Oh, and I'd probably try to save her anyhow.

Maybe it's the British sense of humour, but I'm quite used to hearing stuff like that. Took about two days for the London bombing jokes to start.

It's funny, in a naughty way.

I'd use color.

I'd try to save her, not Osama, though.

I'd not take the picture.

I'd be far too busy holding her under.
