That is all. *expletive deleted*ck you all, eat *expletive deleted*it, and die in a fire. I have considered writing here a long parting section dedicated to each poster, but I have decided, at length, against it. *expletive deleted*ck you all and Hail Satan.

First thing that popped to mind:  "Gotta get dad one for Christmas."

But if I buy one, it'll be hard to not keep it.

Best dart gun I ever saw was a cheap one, unfortunately.  5 round detachable magazine lever action.  Thing was nice, but poorly built.

Damn, too bad they don't have it out yet.  We already have nerf dart fights in the office with what we have.  This would just make it too much fun.

My nephew has the sniper rifle and enjoys sniping family members as they enter the front door.

Won't he be surprised when I burst in with a front roll and open up with thirty rounds a minute of foam-covered whoopass.

Thirty rounds a minute?  Please tell me that's not what the fire rate for that beauty is gonna be?   That's only 1 round every 2 seconds.....   You could do better with many of the other nerf's out there..........

I have no idea where the rate of fire came from, since they don't say. Huh?

But is that a RAIL on top, there?

If that's the dimension of a standard rail...Streamlight? Laser?  cheesy

Also, picture from toyfare, with apparently some guy from a gladiator show firing it.

And some others:

Holy crap, it's got a magpul stock and a tang sightcheesy

"tang sight!"

Tangent sight.

Although it is orange, so it might also qualify as a Tang sight. Astronauts probably took it to the moon...

"CREEDMOOR" REAR TANG SIGHTS
 Mfr: PEDERSOLI DAVIDE & C.

Superb Long-Range Accuracy And The Right Period Styling

Named after the famous range on Long Island that hosted many long-range rifle competitions in the 1870s and 80s, the Creedmoor ladder-type sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation and works equally well on cartridge rifles and muzzleloaders. Sight is precision machined from steel and attaches to tang with supplied setscrews and folds down when not in use. The Universal model is available in middle-range 2" and long-range 3" heights. The windage adjustment mechanism is on the eyepiece, allowing the eyepiece to dropped close to the base for close-in shots. The Soule model provides maximum adjustability to fit any hunting or target shooting conditions. Elevation is adjustable in precise increments of 1 MOA, and one full turn of the windage knob moves the point of aim left or right by 2½ MOA in ½ minute increments. Large knurled knob at the sight base allows fast, accurate return to center or previous setting. Choice of Short, Middle, and Long Range models.

Mike's right.  That is a tangent or "ladder" sight.

"Tang" sights are tangent sights specifically designed to mount on the rifle's tang, the area behind the action where the stock attaches.  They had to mount there on some rifles due to the action type.

The sight on the Nerf gun in question is mounted on the receiver, thus it is not a tang sight.
