I have to disagree with Baseball being boring/ a waste/ whatever....
Think about it....you tell your SO that you are going to watch the game.
You therefore get out of yardwork, misc errands, and whatever else is on the "honey-do" list.
You put on the game. You fall asleep.
In the event something exciting ACTUALLY happens, everyone starts to scream, you wake up, watch the rerun for 20-25 times, and fall back to sleep.
At the end of the game, you wake up refreshed, saw the highlights, and can now go an do whatever you want. You can also discuss the game, since you saw the important play, or maybe, if you are lucky, two or three plays.
I love Baseball.
What other game can you do that? Football you need to stay awake and pay attention to the whole game, lest you get quized later. Tennis? Golf? NASCAR (unless there is a crash, then you watch it on UTube)?
